Summary

This article gives instructions on how to switch between using a Windows Hello Pin and Windows AD password

Body

Sometimes due to application capability you may have to use your normal Windows credentials to log in instead of your Windows Hello pin.

Prerequisites

  • Gwinnett County Office 365 Account

  • Windows Hello Enabled Device

  • Windows Hello Pin already setup for that device

Steps

  1. In order to switch to using a password instead do the following. On the log on screen click sign-in options.

From there you will get additional log on options to choose from.

2. From here you will select the key icon to switch to using a password instead of a pin. If you are doing this from your screen being locked instead of a fresh log on you may just get the password box instead of both user name and password.

3. If you are wanting to switch back to using a pin just click the keypad icon and it should give you the option for your pin.
