Summary
This article explains how to enable the stapler finisher for a supported Sharp multi-function printer on a Windows device.
Who This Article Is For
Gwinnett County employees or IT staff configuring a Sharp multi-function printer that includes a stapler finisher.
Before You Begin
Sharp printers do not include a stapler finisher by default. To use the stapling feature, the Sharp BP model printer must be equipped with the optional BP-FN11 Inner Finisher.
Instructions
-
In Windows, right-click the Start button and select Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners. You can also use the Print Management console if it is installed.
-
Select the printer, then choose Printer Properties.
-
Open the Configuration tab.
-
In the Output Tray dropdown, select Inner Finisher.

-
Select Apply, then test the stapler function.
Additional Notes
After the finisher is enabled, users must still select the stapling option when printing. In the print window, open Print Properties and change the Staple dropdown from None to the desired stapling option.
