Symptoms

  • Contacts do not appear in the Outlook mobile app.

  • The Contacts tab is empty or does not return results.

Cause

The Sync Contacts setting is turned off in the Outlook mobile app.

How to Fix It

  1. Open the Outlook app.

  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner.

  3. Select Settings (gear icon).

  4. Choose Contacts.

  5. Turn on Sync Contacts.

  6. Allow a few moments for your contacts to sync.
