Description and Details
Use this service to request issuance or renewal of a TLS/SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate. You will be asked to provide the following:
- Request Type: New or Renewal (if Renewal, include the current expiration date)
- Common Name (CN)
- Subject Alternative Names (SANs) to be added
- Responsible Team or Application
- Whether other certificates used for this application in Prod/Dev/Test would benefit from a single multi-domain (SAN) certificate

xxxdev.xyz.com
xxxprod.xyz.com
xxxtest.xyz.com
Who Can Submit This Request?
Gwinnett County employees responsible for applications or infrastructure, designated team leads, and service owners.
Required Approvals
Security Team approval is required prior to certificate issuance.
Fulfillment Time Frame
Typically 3–5 business days after approval. Renewals with a valid CSR may complete in 1–3 business days. Time can vary based on DNS/HTTP validation and change windows.
