County ID Badge Requests

Use this service to request a new Gwinnett County ID badge, replacement badge, or badge access update. County ID badges are issued and managed by the Department of Support Services, not Information Technology Services (ITS).

Description and Details

County ID badges are required for building access and identification. All badge requests are handled directly by the Department of Support Services.

Badges are issued by appointment only. After submitting the request form, Support Services will contact you to schedule an appointment.

  • Badge appointments are available Tuesdays and Thursdays only

  • A government-issued photo ID is required at the appointment

  • All non-employee badges expire one year from the date they are issued

  • The badge room is located across from the County Administrator’s office, on the second floor, west side of GJAC

ITS does not create, modify, or replace county ID badges and cannot schedule badge appointments.

Who Can Submit This Request?

Gwinnett County employees, contractors, and external agency personnel who require county badge access.

Required Approvals

Approvals are determined and managed by the Department of Support Services based on employment type and access requirements.

Fulfillment Time Frame

Fulfillment timelines are managed by the Department of Support Services and depend on appointment availability.
