Request a Windows elevated account that grants administrative privileges to a County-managed Windows PC or server.
Description and Details
ITS will create a Windows account with elevated (administrator) privileges on a specified County-managed Windows computer or server. Access will be granted using the principle of least privilege to ensure the account only has the access needed to perform the required tasks.
This service is only for Windows elevated accounts. This service is not for requesting application-specific user permissions or requesting elevated access on other platforms.
Who Can Submit This Request?
Any employee with an organizational need for administrative access to a County-managed Windows PC or server.
Required Approvals
ITS Information Security approval is required. Exceptions should be requested through an ITS Standards Exception Request.
Fulfillment Time Frame
Typically one business day.
