Description and Details
The Desk Phones service supports employees who use physical desk phones for voice communication. This service includes help with desk phones that are not working correctly, requests for new or additional desk phones, voicemail password resets, call forwarding, phone configuration updates, and transitions to softphone solutions when appropriate.
Requests submitted under this service may involve hardware changes, phone number assignments, line configuration, voicemail management, or coordination with telecommunications systems. Some requests may require approvals or scheduling depending on the type of work being requested.
This service does not include mobile phones or other handheld devices, which are handled under a separate service (Mobile Phones).
