Description and Details

Use this service to request the lease and installation of a new multifunction printer for ongoing departmental use. Multifunction printers are assigned based on business need, expected printing volume, department requirements, and location logistics.

ITS will review the request and coordinate the selection, configuration, and installation of an approved device to ensure compatibility with County systems and support standards.

Multifunction printers are leased from Standard Office Solutions (SOS) under five-year agreements. SOS retains ownership of the devices throughout the lease term and provides support for the duration of the lease.

Who Can Submit This Request?

Any Gwinnett County employee may submit this request with departmental approval and a valid business justification.

Required Approvals

All requests must be approved by the requester’s manager. ITS will also review the request for technical and logistical feasibility, including network connectivity, device compatibility, installation requirements, and support considerations.

Fulfillment Time Frame

Typical fulfillment is 3–5 weeks after approval, depending on equipment availability, procurement timelines, required configuration, and installation scheduling.
