Request an update to radio firmware and/or radio programming (codeplug) for a County-issued radio (portable, mobile, or console). Use this option when a radio requires a firmware upgrade, a programming change to channels/zones, or both.
Description and Details
This service updates County radios with the latest approved firmware and/or programming (codeplug). Typical requests include:

Firmware update: apply the latest approved firmware version (no programming details required)

Programming (codeplug) change: add, remove, or reorder channels; update zones; or adjust scan lists
Please provide the end user’s name/department, radio alias, radio serial/model, and contact information. For programming (codeplug) changes, list the specific channel/zone updates (one per line). Include an effective date and a brief justification if applicable.

Fulfillment Time Frame
Standard turnaround is 48 hours (2 business days) after device availability. Complex programming changes or large batch updates may require additional time; urgent requests will be evaluated case by case.
