Employees occasionally encounter business or technical needs that require deviations from established IT standards. This request is intended for exceptions that do not fall under any predefined category such as cloud storage, password policies, RDP, or software usage.
All requests must include a valid business justification and a clear explanation of the standard being bypassed or modified. ITS Information Security will review each case individually to determine potential risks and whether alternative solutions are available.

Who Can Submit This Request?
Any Gwinnett County employee with a valid business or technical justification.
Required Approvals
Fulfillment Time Frame
Within one business day following manager approval. Exceptions requiring complex review or coordination may take longer.
