What Is TeamDynamix ITAM?
TeamDynamix ITAM (formerly Sassafras) is Gwinnett County’s software and asset inventory management system. It collects detailed hardware and software information from County-owned computers and devices to support asset tracking, license compliance, and lifecycle management.
You may hear it referred to as “Sassafras,” “Key Server,” or “the asset inventory system,” especially when discussing software usage, device discovery, or license tracking.

How Does It Work?
A lightweight client agent is installed on County-managed devices. This agent reports hardware and software data back to the TeamDynamix ITAM (Key Server) system. Relevant data is then integrated into TeamDynamix Assets & CI for centralized asset management and reporting.
How Do I Get Access?
Access to TeamDynamix ITAM is limited to authorized ITS personnel. If your role requires access for asset management, reporting, or compliance purposes, please speak with your supervisor and submit a request through the ITS Service Desk.
